Grupo Vértice’s Operations: hours, projects and tasks on one screen.Grupo Vértice · fictional company · illustrative data

What holds service businesses back.

The pain points as the consultancy puts them, and what Nexus Lume does about each one today.

  1. Timesheets arrive on Friday, from memory.

    Operations · Timesheets

Time tracking by project, with a timer, submission and approval: the timer runs while the work happens, and the manager approves each entry.

  2. The right consultant is on another project.

    Operations · Allocations

People allocated to projects, with each person’s workload and the team’s skills, week by week.

  3. New team members never make it into the plan.

    People · Employees

A hire in People becomes an available person in Operations, and a termination takes the person off allocations.

  4. The contract expires and no one remembers.

    Commercial · Contracts

Contracts with a signature envelope and timeline, and the coming months’ expiries in one chart.

  5. Recurring revenue lives in a spreadsheet.

    Commercial · Billing

Recurring billing with MRR and revenue recognition. A customer at risk shows up before renewal, and their tickets move up in priority in Support.

Approved hours and the contract invoice are still two steps: the hours stay in Operations, and Commercial does the invoicing. The NFS-e under the national standard is switched on at implementation, with your company’s accreditation.

Services questions

Do logged hours become an invoice?

Today it takes two steps: hours sit by project, submitted and approved in Operations, and Commercial invoices the contract, with MRR and revenue recognition.

Is the NFS-e issued under the national standard?

Yes. The NFS-e follows the national standard and comes with its DANFSE, the invoice’s printable version. Your company’s accreditation is handled at implementation.

And the tax regime?

The tax engine covers Simples Nacional (the simplified small-business regime), Lucro Presumido (presumed profit), Lucro Real (actual profit) and MEI (the individual microentrepreneur), and each of the group’s CNPJs (company tax IDs) has its own.
